DESCRIPTION:We meet at The Bell  Inn to discuss our latest read – Piranesi by Susanna Clarke and we will surely be reminiscing over our recently lost member\, Meriel\, who passed away suddenly on Christmas Eve. \nA memorial service was held for Meriel on Friday 14 February at St. Peter & St. Paul Church\, Deddington.  The church was filled with family members and many of Meriel’s friends\, including members of our book group and the wider Adderbury WI community.  Meriel was highly instrumental in our group’s set up and in remembrance of her many contributions to our discussions\, we have renamed our group as Meriel’s Book Group.  We meet every 4th Monday of the month at the Bell Inn\, Adderbury at 6.30pm

DESCRIPTION:Once again we will have a stall at the market. This is always a lovely event and an opportunity to raise much needed funds for our branch. Members are invited to donate ingredients for cakes in October and  cakes\, biscuits\, jams\, chutneys and marmalade for the stall\, preferably festively wrapped\, in November. These can be delivered to Theresa’s house in advance or brought to the church on the day. The market opens at 11 and closes at 4 o’clock but help is needed to set up beforehand and to pack up once the market closes. There will be a sign-up sheet for this at the November meeting.
