DESCRIPTION:Our speaker for this evening\, Liz Woolley\, will introduce us to the life of Olive Gibbs\, a significant figure in many aspects of Oxford life and in local education. She is remembered among much else for her role in preventing the proposed ring road being built across Christchurch Meadows and as a founder member of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament. \nWe will be trialling an earlier start time and a new layout for the chairs . The committee members will welcome feedback. \nThere will be sign-up sheets for help with setting up the furniture for our Christmas meal\, for donations of items for the Christmas Market stall and for help on the day. Payment for the Christmas meal (£22) can be made at the meeting and must be received  by 15 November.
