We also like to cover jam jars, and sometimes boxes too, with a variety of coverings from newspaper to tissue or even greaseproof paper, adding ribbons and bows of all sorts of materials, filling them up with all kinds of toys, gifts, useful, decorative items, even pickled onions. Fillings for children are particularly welcome. And all this creative effort culminates in a fund raising stall for an event at which our WI Group participates.
