We welcome women of all ages who are looking for friendship and support. We aim to provide members with opportunities to discover new interests and to take part in a wide variety of activities and campaigns.
All ideas and suggestions are always very welcome, whether it is regarding speakers, trips or any other activities. Also, if you have a skill or would like to learn something new, please do not hesitate to let us know.
Adderbury WI’s 2021 membership year starts in April! Our Committee has been very busy putting together an interesting and varied programme for our members for the coming 12 months. We look forward to meeting up in person in The Institute or on the Green just as soon as Covid restrictions permit. In the meantime many members are enjoying our ‘virtual’ meetings via Zoom. This is a reminder to all our current members to renew their membership by contacting the Treasurer. We would also be very happy to welcome new members to our group. For further information please contact our President on firstname.lastname@example.org
Our meeting on Thursday 1 April will feature a presentation by Gill Perkins of the Bumblebee Conservation Trust. Gill will talk to us about Bumblebees, their importance to us all and how we can help them to survive. To mark the forthcoming International Bee Day some of our Committee members have knitted a selection of bees of various types and sizes which have been delivered to all our members. We hope that as many of our members as possible will wear their bee as a broach or a pendant for our April meeting!
