We do not usually hold a meeting in December but as we cannot meet for our traditional meal and there have been a number of months without a meeting, there will be a short business meeting this evening followed by a talk about Christmas Italian style. Mariella Bliss lives in Tackley but is originally from Naples and her talk will include folklore, nativity scenes, procession, Befana and, naturally, Christmas food. Mariella is planning a short demonstration of a Christmas dish called Struffoli, apparently it is fairly explosive and fun to watch!
