This evening will be an opportunity to learn more about Chinese New Year with David Yip. An actor who starred in the series ‘The Chinese Detective, David lives in Adderbury. He has worked at the National Theatre and has made documentaries and given presentations about the Chinese community in Liverpool where he was born. This evening has been planned as a social occasion to encourage members to get to know each other and there will be Chinese nibbles and fortune cookies! A recent email from our President included instructions for making simple Chinese lanterns, Craft group have already made some and members the committee would love members to make one or two and bring them to the meeting.
