‘Surviving The House That Sat Down’ Zoom online lecture for members
14th May 2020 at 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
This is the fifth lecture organised by OFWI, free for all members of an Oxfordshire WI to attend via Zoom online. It is a talk by Alice May who lives in the New Forest and worked for many years as a GP practice manager. In 2016 she started writing and produced a trilogy ‘The House That Sat Down’, full of positivity and humorous anecdotes about family life. If you wish to attend, via your computer and from the comfort of your own home, please remember to register in advance following the instructions in the News & Views sent online on 7 May. Please note: It has been pointed out that this event conflicts with the weekly 8pm ‘Clap for the NHS’, but we have be assured that the lecture will pause to enable participants to go outside, applaud our key workers and return for the rest of the event.
