Our discussion this evening will be about the non-fiction book ‘Operation Mincemeat’, This is an account of an extraordinary part of the defence of Britain in World War Two, written by Ben Macintyre who specialises in the history of this period. It has been made into a play and a film, Wendy has kindly offered to host this meeting.
