Sheila P, whose planned walk in August was cancelled because of Covid, has kindly offered to lead a walk that goes through the arboretum at Broughton Grange. There should be plenty of Autumn colour on the trees. More details will be available later.

On a seasonal theme, this evening Juliet Corston will demonstrate flower arranging with pumpkins. If you would like to buy a pumpkin to make your own arrangement there will be a sign up sheet at the August and September meetings. The cost per pumpkin is £7.50, payable in advance, preferably at the August meeting.

Our discussion of issues relating to climate change will continue at this meeting. If you have not been to a discussion before but would like to join us, then please contact Margaret asap.

This first group lunch will be on Wednesday 12 October at the Chequer Trees, Bloxham Garden Centre. We will meet there at 12.40. If you were not at the October WI meeting but would like to come, please contact Margaret asap.

We have already enjoyed two titles by Tracey Chevalier and this evening we will be talking about her novel Remarkable Creatures, which is based on the true story of Mary Anning and her discoveries of fossils.

Maureen Golder has kindly offered to host this meeting at her house in Hempton. If you have not been to a craft group before but would like to come, please let Margaret know. We will meet at the Institute at 2 o'clock for car sharing

Joe Cummings, one of the three core team members of Voices Across Time, will tell us the story of the Oxfordshire based theatre group, which was founded in 2016. Their original shows combine music and history and several have been performed In Adderbury. Since 2028 VAT have also run a community outreach programme.
