Our speaker this evening will be Alan Wolstencroft, sharing his experiences as a long-term volunteer in Sierra Leone.

This evening we will be discussing Toast, Nigel Slater's award-winning memoir of a boy's hunger. If you would like to join our group please contact Margaret. You will be warmly welcomed if you join us at the Bell from 6.30 pm

Peter Barker, the volunteer at Otmoor whose talk at our April meeting inspired this visit, will lead a guided walk around the reserve. Meet at the Institute at 9.15 for car sharing. After the walk members may like to have a pizza lunch at the Abingdon Arms in nearby Beckley.

This should be an entertaining evening as we learn about burlesque, admire the costumes and perhaps even have a go at a routine ourselves! We will be inspired by our speaker, Lauren Dean aka Miss Cherry Buns.
