Christmas meal and social evening
We do not have a formal meeting in December. Instead a team of members organise our Christmas meal which is sometimes followed by an entertaining activity. Confirmation of the venue and time will be available nearer the date.

Wednesday book group
This month we have been reading The Time of the Child by Niall Williams and Dawn has kindly offered to host us. We will also share ideas for titles for our programme for 2026. If you are interested in joining us please contact Bernice who co-ordinates the group.

Mahjong Group meeting & Christmas mince pies
Adderbury Library/Church HouseMembers met as usual at 2pm at The Library for another good session of our favourite game, with mulled wine and mince pies to celebrate the season. We will meet again on Monday 5 January for the start of our 2026 round of Mahjong meetings.

For our first meeting in 2026 we will be at Sandra's house to share our thoughts about Fundamentally, a novel by Nussaibah Younis, recommended by Wendy. It is promoted as 'a wildly funny and razor-sharp exploration of love, family, and religion and the decisions we make in pursuit of belonging'.
