Women Working on Inland Waterways in WWII. Speaker: Barbara Hately.
Historian Barbara Hately will tell us this evening all about the Inland Waterways during the Second World War and how they were kept working by women who stepped in to the jobs vacated by men joining up to fight in the forces.
