We will have a guided tour of the yard and workshop and a trip on the Oxford canal. This is a follow-up to a talk about Tooley's at our meeting in May.

We will have a stall at the market this month to promote our WI and invite anyone interested to come along to a WI meeting in the Autumn.

Our August meeting has a short business section which will be followed by our summer social evening - a garden party in the grounds of the Rookery in celebration of the centenary of the Oxfordshire Federation of Women's Institutes. Please wear a hat and bring a SMALL sharing plate!

An hour to work on the flower beds we maintain in the hospice grounds. Just come along if you would like to join us. Our seeds are provided through the Kew Royal Botanic Garden Grow Wild Seed outreach project.

Our speaker this evening is Wendy Hart. Wendy lectures on Art History at Wroxton College and will introduce us to some of the women artists of the last five hundred years.

Our book for September is Nine Folds Make A Paper Swan by Ruth Gilligan and Bernice is kindly hosting our discussion.

A day to promote village organisations. We hope to run a stall to advertise our WI and perhaps to recruit new members as we did on the same occasion last year. Times to be confirmed.
