    Lucy's first business venture was in children's craft kits which she successfully ran whilst studying for a degree and raising three children. Upon graduating she decided to become a milliner and has since met and trained with many well known teachers both in the craft and the millinery worlds. Lucy now owns Hilary's Hat Hire in Fritwell and has recently won an international hat design competition.

    For our first meeting of the new year we will be reading The Ice Cream Girls by Dorothy Koomson. Su is kindly hosting us.

  • Garden Morning at Katharine House Hospice

    An hour to work on the flower beds we maintain in the grounds of Katharine House Hospice. Some of our seeds are provided through the Grow Wild project organised through Kew Garden. Just come along if you can spare the time to help.

    Tooley's Boatyard, situated in the heart of Banbury on the South Oxford Canal is the oldest working dry dock on the Inland Waterways, having been in continuous use since 1788. Tooley's director, Matt Armitage, is here tonight and will tell us about the fascinating history of this unique boatyard, the services that they currently offer and exciting plans for the future.
