Jeremy explained to members what is involved in putting the magazine together.  He described his career as a photographer who travelled around taking pictures for the local paper, being taken on by Express Newspaper Group, travelling round Europe before finally settling back in Banbury.  He set up an office in his front room, borrowed money and began producing a magazine called ‘Banbury Fair’.  This name was later changed to ‘Four Shires’.  The magazine aims to cover all that is best in the area.  The aim is to provide a good balance of stories to adverts.  Circulation varies from month to month but on average 5000 copies are sold.  There are now 3 full time staff and 6 or 7 regular freelancers and 3 or 4 contributors involved in the production.  Jeremy ended the evening by taking photographs of members showing their copies of the latest magazine.
