Adderbury Team WI were hard at work at Adderbury Lakes weeding our main area and the extension bed of weeds last Thursday morning in the rain. Our new seedlings are doing very well but we must tell you that the new plant – the Dark Mullein (Verbascum nigrum) found two weeks ago on our main area, has disappeared and whether by nature or intervention, I cannot say. There is another single/double siting further along, on the left hand side, whose existence we will check on tomorrow.
At KHH, more clearance of faded Campion plants was carried out and here also our new seedlings are doing well. We even have a Corncockle plant in flower in the 2nd bed which is very heartening.
