The current book is:

to be followed by:

Reading programme for 2014 –

The Chocolate Wars by Deborah Cadbury

And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini

The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman

The Roving Party by Rohan Wilson

Instructions for a Heatwave by Maggie O’Farrell

Under the Greenwood Tree by Thomas Hardy

In April 2014, the book group discussed Ann Patchett’s State of Wonder.

For May, the book to be read and discussed is The Roving Party by Rohan Wilson and the group will met on Wednesday, 7th May.

On Wednesday, 11th June 2014, the book to be discussed is Instructions for a Heatwave by Maggie O’Farrell and not Under the Greenwood Tree by Thomas Hardy, as previously reported, and apologies for the confusion.

I hope I’m right in saying Thomas Hardy’s Under the Greenwood Tree will be the book for July.

The new reading list for September to March will be agreed at the July meeting and details will be given here as soon as available.
