Walking Group

WI WalkLast year many of us enjoyed a variety of walks both locally and further afield. It is a lovely time to walk, chat and take in the beautiful scenery around us.  The routes are never too strenuous and we usually plan to be out for about 2 hours, often finishing up in a local pub for supper!

Unfortunately, due to the dreadfully wet weather over the winter months we decided to postpone further walks until the Spring.

Please keep a look out on our diary pages for dates and times.

Further information is available either by contacting Caroline or another member of the committee.

WEDNESDAY 13TH MARCH, 2013.  A gentle first walk of the season – “The Adderbury Circular stopping off at the coffee shop at Cotefield Garden Centre for refreshments!”

Seven ladies and one dog set out for our walk on a bright sunny but chilly morning.  All walking speeds were catered for and coversation flowed.  Half way round, Cotefield Garden Centre offered a welcome stop, where we sat outside in the sunshine and  enjoyed a variety of delicious hot drinks. Having been revived we finished our walk and all headed home, fully exercised  of mind, body and vocal chords!
