The Adderbury & District WI are putting together a Charity Calendar for local deserving causes.
Unlike the infamous “WI Calendar” we thought we would showcase our fabulous village, with its history, beautiful gardens and chocolate box cottages. There will be a different photograph for every month passing through the year with seasonal pictures. With this in mind, we will have the Calendar ready for sale in September 2015.
The Calendar will not only have photographs but will have the dates of special events through the year, including our Community Market, WI meetings, Party in the Park, the Annual Pantomine, Day of Dance and Christmas Market.
We are looking for these special photos and thought it would be fun to have a competition open to young and old throughout the village. The final 48 photographs will be on display so that everyone has a chance to vote for their favourite. The prize will be not only your photograph being on the Calendar but a wonderful WI baked cake. Further details as to where to send your entries will be advised in next month’s Contact – (November).
We hope you will not only support the creating of our Calendar but will purchase them for all your friends and family.
