Committee Meeting – Monday, 1st December 2014

We met at Holly House to discuss matters, events and happenings with reminders about pre-Christmas activities.

 

Christmas Tree Festival:  Caroline is hosting an afternoon session for anyone who wants to help finish our tree decorations which will now take place at Holly House Manor Road Wednesday “2 – 4 pm ONLY” and “NOT 7 – 9 pm” as  previously arranged.

 

Christmas tree decorating will take place at 2pm on Thursday, 4  December for members who would like to come to the Church to help. It should not take long to dress our 4 foot tall tree!

Visit the Christmas Tree Festival at St. Mary’s Church between 5  to 7 December, 2014.

 

December meeting and Christmas Party:  at The Institute from 7.30pm.  We are looking forward to an enjoyable evening with Carrol Eaton’s delicious supper and member’s puddings, and to our Best Dressed Sprout competition with entries to be judged by our Speaker, Moira Byast.

Donations for our BHYP Box will, as usual, be very warmly welcomed.

Adderbury Christmas Market; A complete sell-out of member’s cakes, bakes and preserves with the stall finishing early, making an approx. £190.00 from our sales.

WI Calendar: The Committee look forward to receiving your photo entries and more news at our next WI meeting on 8 January 2015.

Swishing Evening Charity Fund-raising event for February: we still need a sub-committee to develop this event and look forward to hearing from any member who would like to be involved with this event.
