theWI Adderbury & District WI – Agenda for WI Meeting – Thursday, 4th February 2016

Posted by on Jan 29, 2016 in Reflections

 Dear Ladies

Here is the agenda for our meeting next Thursday. We’re aiming to keep the first part of the evening as brief as possible so we have more time to socialise over our refreshments before we listen to our speaker.

Mary Walker has kindly offered to lead a walk around Blenheim on TUESDAY 9 FEBRUARY and writes:

I am planning to lead a walk in the grounds of Blenheim Park at Woodstock on Tuesday 9 February.  What I am suggesting is to meet at Adderbury at 9.30 am and car share to the Woodstock car park.  We would then walk in on public footpaths and do the walk which takes you round the back past the Combe gate, on towards Bladon and on round to the palace.  For those who wished we could then have lunch in The Oxfordshire Pantry at the Palace.  The walk is on tarmac paths, so good in wet weather.  There are no stiles.  My guess is that it is about 3/4 miles.

If you would like to join the walk can you email me at [email protected], ring me on 01295 257109 or 07932 711516, or sign up at the next meeting.

Hope you can join me.

Mary Walker

Looking forward to seeing you next week

Kind regards

Bernice
