Excellent day yesterday for WI Events with a day at Didcot for NFWI Craft Committee ShoWIng Off Demonstration Workshop with excellent input from Alan Springall on what not to do when creating displays for competition entries, co-operative schemes or good raffle prize tables. Oxford Federation provided an excellent lunch at Didcot’s Civic Centre and a brilliant day was enjoyed by all attendees.
Then home to attend Adderbury WI Meeting and AGM and re-election of Committee and our present President, Diane, for another year. We are all with you Diane – Bernice, Chris, Caroline, Gill, Me and our two new members, Maureen and Pat.
Jean Geary kindly joined us to ease our way through the AGM voting process and a great evening ensued. Pat spoke to us of the Hospice Movement and about Katharine House Hospice and gave an excellent presentation, and our Raffle Table provided many welcome prizes for lucky members to take home. xxx
