Dear Members,
Gardening at Adderbury Lakes was hot work last week but very satisfactory. We now have cornflowers blooming amongst the white daisy heads and they are enchanting to see. The thistles are ever-present but as they’re easy to remove, they are coming out whenever possible. Our little groups of plantings and sowings within our two beds are doing well. We have a variety of young seedlings springing up and it will be interesting to watch as they mature and flower. Here’s a few photos for you to view progress…



You can just see the cornflowers in the middle of the first two photos. More weeding was accomplished on Saturday 23rd July before the sun became too hot. The ground is very dry but it’s quite easy to remove unwanted plants.
