Dear Members,
Last Thursday was an excellent day for gardening at KHH and Adderbury Lakes and dealing with the weeds

GWS wild flower gardening at KHH and Adderbury Lakes last Thursday. At KHH I spotted a little brown furry body with a tail, weaving his way thru’ the long campion stems towards the back of the garden. He vanished almost as soon as I spied him.. so no pic to show you, but the bees were a’buzzin and the wasps and hover flies doing their thing too! We also have two poppy plants growing up by boarding beneath the watering can…!
Adderbury Lakes planting is mixed in with many thistles, grasses and docks so hand-weeding is an absolute must-do occupation but the wild geranium plants are doing their best to bloom and we have growth from all the seeds from Andrew Barnes and myself, sown in May xxx
