Dear Members,
Gardening at Adderbury Lakes last week was also a great matter of pruning – of weeds, thistles, some burdock and other small plants, this activity resulting in a great clearance of the beds of plants and seeds nicely growing in our circular groupings within our two beds.
And then I found a new wild flower right in the middle of one of those clumps, which is terribly exciting. I think its a White Campion and it must be there because of the planted wild seed mixture from our May sowings. I include a photo of this new wild seed too…

Dear Members
WI Gardening at KHH last week was rather more a pruning session as our pink campion and small daisies were somewhat fading and had to be removed. Luckily I have a quantity of GWS seedlings all ready for planting and shall fill up the bare spaces with nice new plants …. In a few weeks I’ll also scatter a few seeds for spring growth and new blooms xxx
