Dear Members,
Adderbury WI GWS gardening at KHH last Thursday, our area a sea of pink Campion plants, already standing to attention and looking very good. Add a few allowable buttercups amongst the campions and that’s our springtime site. Luckily, there are a few presently bare patches for new seedings which can be done very soon, when the ground will be raked both before and after seeding, very lightly just to cover the new seeds, hopefully giving us a fresh input of last year’s summer annuals. Maybe even a poppy or two.
Our second bed spring plants continue to bloom well and look gorgeous. Here are a few photo views of our wildflower area xxx
