Dear Members,
Adderbury Team WI were also at KHH last Thursday at our Grow Wild Seed site where our new Grow Wild seedlings, sown in June, are doing really well. A little weeding of stray grass shoots just to give our seedlings the best chance for survival was all that was needed and then we firmly embedded the stepping stones at the rear of the main bed to allow for ease of planting saved seeds from last autumn’s seed harvest, next Thursday evening on our Wild Flower Walk We have a great many campion seeds available for sowing.
Our Viper’s Bugloss is doing well in our 2nd bed at the back of which, a Day Lily has sprung up from the plants very kindly donated by a Village plant sale at The Manor last summer. It sits very well amongst the primrose plants and hollyhock .which we hope blooms soon. Here’s a photo or two ,,,, xxx
