A brief talk and demonstration of Taoist Tai Chi by a local instructor. There will be an opportunity for members to try some of the moves for themselves.

Our speaker this evening is Wendy Hart. Wendy lectures on Art History at Wroxton College and will introduce us to some of the women artists of the last five hundred years.

We will have a stall at the market this month to promote our WI and invite anyone interested to come along to a WI meeting in the Autumn.

Blood, Bikes and Babies: Kamran Irani will tell us about his experiences as a motorbike rider, which include delivering vital blood supplies.

This evening Tony Clear, who was formerly gardener at Brook Cottage, will give us suggestions for encouraging beneficial wildlife into our gardens, and discouraging the less welcome species.

Tooley's Boatyard, situated in the heart of Banbury on the South Oxford Canal is the oldest working dry dock on the Inland Waterways, having been in continuous use since 1788. Tooley's director, Matt Armitage, is here tonight and will tell us about the fascinating history of this unique boatyard, the services that they currently offer and exciting plans for the future.

Lucy's first business venture was in children's craft kits which she successfully ran whilst studying for a degree and raising three children. Upon graduating she decided to become a milliner and has since met and trained with many well known teachers both in the craft and the millinery worlds. Lucy now owns Hilary's Hat Hire in Fritwell and has recently won an international hat design competition.
